Back home! Lawn has turned into a meadow while we have been gone. The cucumbers are hardly edible any longer, covered by thick yellow rinds, as they are. We have had a nice trip, visiting friends on a boat outside Corsica, and interrailing across Europe. Heavy rucksacks, good food, remarkably empty trains, hot weather. And from the big cities - lots of inspiration for a country girl like me! Not a single book has been read.
