Some new houses for my royal family and their crowd. And I really, really love the garden when you can go out and pick things. Squash, cucumbers, lettuce, roses! We share the same favorite spots in the garden, the hens and I. Now, time for a swim!

And a blog break for some weeks. Enjoy summer! I will read books and keep my computer out of reach.

(And Mörtforsdagen went so well.

This truly is a favorite book this summer. Penguin 75: Designers, Authors, Commentary, by Paul Buckley. Fun and interesting to see the creative steps, the rejected drafts and to read the humoristic comments to each book cover.

What a summer! Blue skies, nights without any mosquitos. You can watch the squash growing under a broiling sun. And the hens are curious, social and such a nice company.

(The trellis on our house wall is made by Johan Carpner.)

Sometimes I think of my old classmate from school. What is she doing now?
